Hi, I’m Steph — the hands and heart behind Maia & Mou. This little label was born from both love and loss. Named after my two beautiful children, Maia and Manni, it carries the memory of my beloved husband, Dimi, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in April 2023. At the time, our babies were just 4 months and 20 months old. Our world changed in an instant, and the grief that followed has been immeasurable. In the depths of that heartbreak, I felt a need to create something meaningful — something that would bring light back into our lives. Maia & Mou became that light. A space to honour Dimi’s memory, a way to support my little ones, and a daily reminder of the strength, grit, and resilience I want them to grow up with. Every piece is lovingly designed in my home in Melbourne. With every design, I pour in hope, healing, and an overwhelming amount of love. Go gently xo

At Maia & Mou, our mission is to bring colour, comfort, and joy into the lives of little ones — while honouring the strength of family, love, and resilience. What started as a healing journey has grown into a heartfelt label dedicated to creating playful, high-quality pieces that spark smiles and celebrate childhood in all its messy, magical glory.

We believe in slow fashion, thoughtful design, and supporting families through all of life’s chapters. Every piece is a tribute to our story — and a reminder that even in loss, something beautiful can grow.
